This year in The Sorcerer's Apprentice: International Edition I had a chance to showcase my creativity as I never had done before.
I learned how to create original art and vector graphics, which helped Team Land remain competitive in challenges where they otherwise would have fallen behind.
The fact that I was willing to learn such a difficult skill from scratch shows how devoted I am to this competition and to my team.
In Challenge 5, I further realized my graphic design skills when I created a series of posters with unique aspects, which presented a challenge: to keep them all tied together somehow. I accomplished this by using borders and fonts across all four posters.
I also use my creativity throughout the brainstorming process. Take a look at the map below. This is not a final map by any means, it's a quick map I drew while brainstorming different rides and where things could go. We ended up using a layout very similar to this.
This is also an example of how I try to simplify and make things easier on my teammates, by helping reduce all the information in our team PM into a more organized post or image.
Meta alert: Another way I've shown my creativity is through making this website. No one else has ever done anything like this for a boardroom plea. That is a result of my ability to think outside the box.
If I remain in this competition through the semifinals, I am determined to take my creativity to the next level. This will be evident in my art, my brainstorming, and my writing. I also have some more creative tricks up my sleeve, which I have not even begun to use.
