As soon as the competition started this year, even before the beginning of the first challenge, I immediately felt a strong feeling of unity.
Even though I had never met the people on Team Land before, I already thought of them as my team. I started a PM where we could get to know each other better.
I worked together very well with all of those original members of Team Land, just as I worked together well with Team Fantasy last year.
With only original members of Team Land, I believe that the best example of our teamwork was in Challenge 7: Shanghai Hospitality. We had to be able to work together well to get so much content done in so little time.
On Team Fantasy, the epitome of our teamwork was of course, Challenge 2: Finding a Future.
My success with both teams, two years in a row, proves that I don't simply ride on my teammates' shoulders to advance further in the competition. I actually contribute to the teamwork dynamic.
When I was Project Manager, I was no evil emperor sitting high atop my throne. Instead, I listened to my teammates' suggestions and tried to incorporate them all into the final post.
This was especially true in Challenge 1, even though I was not Project Manager that week. I listened to plenty of suggestions about the setting of the land, and came up with a compromise.
I have proven that when my teammates are unavailable and work still needs to be done, I can still pull off a win by myself.
An example of this is in Challenge 9, when I was under pressure at the last minute because something unexpectedly came up for Englanddg, and RMichael was out for personal reasons.
If I remain for the next round of competition, and I am Project Manager, I will show once again that I have what it takes to lead a team. If I am not Project Manager, I will show how my ability to collaborate is a valuable asset.
I have shown teamwork skills in the past, I have shown teamwork skills in the present, and I will show teamwork skills in the future. However, in the semifinals, the stakes are high. You can be sure that I will keep improving my teamwork in order to succeed.
